Excerpts
A U.S. District Court judge in Riverside on Thursday denied releasing Robert Ferro. His attorney argued that he was not a danger to the community or a flight risk, and so should be eligible for bail.
But because of Ferro's admitted membership with the militant group Alpha 66, an organization plotting to overthrow the Cuban government, the judge disagreed.
"I believe he has access to more weapons and explosives through this group," said Judge Oswald Parada.
Ferro is scheduled to return to court May 10 for arraignment and will remain in jail until his trial. He was at West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Lets see...Cuba is communist, sending over illegal people and drugs...and the U.S. is the country with bad foriegn policy?
The problem with people like you is you blame all of your misfortune on the United States. The U.S. government doesn't even owe its own citizens anything...let alone people from other countrys.
I am gladd this guy got the chip off his shoulder.
