A low level U.S. State Department official declared this week that the orderly temporary transfer of power in Cuba is not acceptable to the United States.
I ask this person: What are you going to do about it? The Cuban people have made it very clear that they will not accept ill-conceived plans to restore Uncle Sam's favorite type of "democracy" to the island.
Short of a U.S. invasion there is nothing the U.S. can do. The $80 million dollars will accomplish nothing, because they will end in the pockets of Bush's cronies in Miami, the ones that put him in power in 2000 via electoral fraud in Florida.
