I have a suggestion for Juan Amador Rodriguez and others like him who seek to ban books that they don't like because they portray Cuba as a paradise ("Cuba book removal stirs emotions," Saturday).
Go to the library and check out a book on the United States that is directed to 4- to 8-year-olds as was the book on Cuba. See if that book mentions poverty, the homeless, drug addiction, crime and other problems we have in this country. I bet it won't.
If Mr. Rodriguez is so obsessed with raising his daughter, he should teach her that one of the reasons many people left Cuba was because of government censorship.
