In a story dated November 17, 2006, written by Joe Strupp of
Editor & Publisher, who calls itself "America's oldest Journal Covering the Newspaper Industry" it was revealed that 49 so-called journalists in Miami received thousands of dollars from the U.S. government for writing and publishing anti-Cuba propaganda.
The list of the Gang of 49 has not been made public.
Next time that you read an article about Cuba from a journalism organization in Miami, ask yourself: is this guy or gal a member of the Gang of 49?
