Cuba Presides Non Aligned Ministerail Meeting in Iran

Havana, Sep 3 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque is in Teheran Monday presiding over the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Ministerial Meeting on Human Rights and Cultural Diversity.

The gathering, to be run until Tuesday, is a decision of the 14th Summit of the organization held in Havana in September 2006.

The aim is to reaffirm the Movement's commitment to defend human rights and cultural diversity on the base of universality, objectivity, impartiality and non selectivity, as well as foster cooperation among NAM countries, "Granma" newspaper reported.
