Cuba's National Ballet at Maracaibo Dance Festival

Havana, September 10 (acn) Cuba's National Ballet (BNC) directed by prima ballerina assoluta Alicia Alonso will attend the International Dance Festival of Maracaibo, Venezuela from September 30 to October 7.

The classics Coppélia and Pas de Deux will be part of the repertoire.

Eduardo Blanco's latest choreography inspired on the life and work of the Latin American patriot Manuelita Saenz and her relationship with Simon Bolivar, which is still unnamed, will be a world premiere.

The BNC will also bring to the stage "Al encontrarse", choreography by Alicia Alonso herself with music by renowned musician and composer Chucho Valdes
