Zimbabwean Foreign Minister On Official Visit In Cuba

Havana, September 18 (acn) Invited by his Cuban counterpart Felipe Perez Roque, Zimbabwean Foreign Minister Simbarashe Mumbengegwi arrived in Cuba on Monday afternoon to strengthen bilateral relations.

Mumbengewi, whose agenda in Cuba extends to September 21, will co-chair the Tenth Inter-governmental Cuba-Zimbabwe Commission meeting, published Granma newspaper on Tuesday.

The official's presence in Cuba is seen as an expression of the excellent political relations, friendship and cooperation existing between Cuba and Zimbabwe and the desire of both peoples and governments to continue strengthening their ties and historic links.
