Pakistan is now a U.S. supported dictatorship

The Unites States government has had a long history of supporting dictatorships throughout the world, which belies the notion that we are a democracy. Dictatorship is the favored form of government promoted by the United States.

Venezuela and Bolivia have democratically elected government. Who is trying to destabilize those two countries? The United States is. Who backed the military coup against Hugo Chavez? The United States did.

Now in Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf is ruling the country with martial law. He suspended the country's Constitution, named a new Supreme Court and blacked out independent news stations. Since then, an estimated 2,500 opposition politicians, lawyers and human rights activists have been arrested and all political protests banned.

Who is supporting all this? The United States is.

Next time someone tells you that the United States supports democracy, laugh!
