Renditions and water boarding

Last Friday, the film Rendition opened in theaters throughout the country. This movie gives people a very clear view of what the administration of George W. Bush has been doing in their so-called war on terror. They have used secret flights to turn over terrorism suspects to unscrupulous countries that have allowed interrogators to engage in water boarding and other forms of torture.

The good name and reputation of the US is today in tatters because of the actions of rogue neocons in the Bush administration. We are using the same immoral and inhumane actions that the terrorists use, even though we call ourselves a nation of laws.

See the film and decide for yourself; I saw it and I would have to say that Bush and Cheney deserve to be impeached and removed from office for high crimes and misdemeanors. And Judge Mukasey’s nomination to be AG should be turned down by the U.S. Senate. The poor fellow does not want to say that water boarding is torture.
