In their great majority they are in their seventies and they had to leave Cuba in a hurry in 1959 with their buddy Fulgencio Batista. Today, they may use canes to walk around. Imagine U.S. Senator John McCain, the ex Vietnam POW, organizing a ‘hit-and-run’ commando team to liberate Vietnam. The people would laugh at him, and that is exactly what the people of our country do regarding the claims of these ‘nursing home’ commandos of Alpha 66. What they do very well is approach the gullible viejitos in Miami’s Calle Ocho to promise them the “liberation” of Cuba, if they were only to make a cash contribution to the “cause.”
