U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz may be in violation of the Democratic Party Loyalty Oath

April 20th, 2008

Today is a cool and sunny day, something not unusual in sunny Florida during April. I was doing my normal Internet surfing this morning when I came across a very interesting form among the Bylaws of Polk County's DEC, Democratic Executive Committee. It is a Loyalty Oath that supposedly all Democrats who are elected to public office are supposed to sign under oath.

I am reproducing the form below this comment. After reading the form about three times, I came to the conclusion that U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz may be in violation of said Loyalty Oath and the rules of the Democratic Party. She has refused to endorse and/or support the three Democratic Party candidates who are challenging the trio of ultra-right-wing Miami-Dade Republican Congressmen and Congresswoman, Lincoln Diaz-Balart, Mario Diaz-Balart and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen.

U.S. Representative Wasserman Schultz has in the past received upwards of $15,000 from the US-Cuba Democracy PAC, which is a Republican Political Action Committee which distributes funds to corrupt members of Congress in exchange for their anti-Cuba votes in the U.S. House and Senate.

All county DEC's have to be in conformity with the bylaws of the Democratic Party of the state of Florida and the Democratic National Committee. I am saying that this Loyalty Oath is something that is required in every Florida County, if you are duly registered as a Democrat with the registrar of elections for your county.

I say that U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz has violated said loyalty oath and therefore I demand that she be expelled from the Democratic Party.

I challenge U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz to make public this Loyalty Oath that she signed after being elected as a Democrat.
