Cuba beats Japan and advances to the championship game of the Haarlem Baseball Tournament

Cuba beat Japan today 6-4 in a semifinal game at the Haarlem Baseball Tournament. Alexei "Phenomenon" Bell's home run in the seventh inning put Cuba ahead and broke a tied game. Excellent three innings of relief pitching by superstar and Olympian Pedro Luiz Lazo was another key factor in the Cuban victory.

The championship game will be played on Sunday. Cuba will face either USA or Chinese Taipei.
