The Capitalist Housing Bubble that Went Bust

President Barack Obama is supposed to visit Fort Myers, Florida on Tuesday. The unemployment rate in that city is now 10%.

There was a huge capitalist scam perpetrated on the American public during the late years of the XX century and the early ones of the XXI. It is now referred as the "Housing Bubble."

When the house of cards of this major capitalist scam/fraud came tumbling down, what the American public found themselves facing is the worst economic crisis since the 1930's Depression. And it is going to get worse, not better.

There is an old axiom that says: "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

My question is: Why are Americans so gullible when it comes to listening to the capitalist flim-flam con artists? When will they ever learn?

Read the NYT article titled: 'In Florida, Despair and Foreclosures' and weep.
