Aroldis Chapman, the lefty star in Team Cuba to the 2009 World Baseball Classic, will take the mound for the criollos in the first game of Round 2 at Petco Park in San Diego, reports the Cuban Television Website aldia.cu, from the city of Holguin, where Chapman originates.
It is a very good choice and it promises to be a very interesting and exciting game as both Japan and Cuba have very strong and capable teams. Daisuke Matzusaka will open up for the land of the Rising Sun.
GO CUBA!
