Cuba retains top spot at the IBAF world rankings

The International Baseball Federation (IBAF) has released the new World Baseball Rankings after the Japanese win in the 2009 World Baseball Classic. The rankings and points are as follow:

1-Cuba 1072.18 points.

2-South Korea 939.82.

3-Japan 891.

4-United States 859.32.

5-Taipei of China 471.82.

6-Holland 382.57.

7-México 280.25.

8-Canada 280.19.

9-Australia 214.11.

10-Puerto Rico 211.14.

11-Venezuela 210.68.

12-Panamá 206.32.

13-Italy 150.88.

14-China 125.00.

15-Nicaragua 123.50.
