Japan eliminates U.S.A. and will defend its WBC title tomorrow

Japan has defeated U.S.A. 9-4, and it advances to tomorrow night's WBC title game against Korea.

The two Asian nations are right now on an ascending path in international baseball. Unless Cuba, U.S.A. and the Dominican Republic can recover from embarrassing losses, they will probably be defeated in the upcoming Baseball World Cup, which will be played out in European venues in November.

After injuries to Pedroia and Youkilis, Team U.S.A. was left with a team of under achievers.

Japan will be the heavy favorite tomorrow, and will likely send Iwakuma to the mound as a starting pitcher. It should be a very interesting and good game.
