SAN SALVADOR – El Salvador’s leftist president-elect said on Wednesday that his administration will restore diplomatic relations with Cuba, suspended in 1959 after the revolution that brought Fidel Castro to power.
JG: With the re-establishment of diplomatic relations with Cuba by Costa Rica and El Salvador, the isolation of the United States vis-a-vis Cuba is now completely total. The U.S. continues with its head deeply stuck in the sand.
