Yesterday was certainly a very exciting day. Many of the hate-based Cuba policies of George W. Bush and his thugs came tumbling down like the ancient walls of Jericho.
This is a new beginning. Today, it is the hard liners and the professional Cuba haters in both major U.S. political parties who are totally isolated.
The steps taken yesterday are a very important first step. The silly and failed embargo should be next and then the Freedom to Travel to Cuba Act should be enacted by the U.S. Congress so that ALL AMERICANS can visit their neighbors 90 miles to the south.
Hate NO, Reconciliation YES.
It will all culminate with the reestablishment of normal and friendly relations between our two countries.
Let us be friends again!
