Press conference of U.S. Reps. Delahunt and Flake in regards to H.R. 874

April 2, 2009 - Representative Delahunt (D-MA) along with Rep. Flake (R- AZ) and others announced at a well attended press conference, HR 874, the Freedom to Travel to Cuba Act, a bill removing all travel restrictions, for all Americans, to travel to Cuba. The bill was announced with 122 co-sponsors.

To find out if your U.S. Representative is a co-sponsor of The Freedom to Travel to Cuba Act for ALL AMERICANS:

1) go to the Library of Congress Thomas Website, and

2) in the search box that says Search Bill Summary and Status enter H.R. 874

3) click and turn on the radio button that says Bill Number, and then press the square box labeled SEARCH.

As I write these lines, 125 U.S. Representatives, including the original introducer of the bill, William Delahunt, are co-sponsors of this very important bill.

Let us make sure that ALL AMERICANS can travel freely to Cuba. We do not need a nanny government telling us where we can travel and not travel to. Freeodom to all, denial to none.
