Cuba reelected to the Human Rights Council

In a rebuff to the policies of the United States, United Nations members reelected Cuba to a seat at the Human Rights Council. Mexico and Uruguay were also chosen to represent the Latin America community at the world organization which is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and which oversees human rights practices around the world

The United States continues to mount a campaign of slander and invectiveness against the land of Jose Marti. When Batista, Somoza, Trujillo and Duvalier were slaughtering the citizens of Cuba, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Haiti, not once did the United States present a resolution at any world organization seeking to condemn their murderous activities. Why? Because the tyrants on those four countries were pliable puppets and served the economic interests of American capitalism and imperialism.

The United States government does not have the necessary morals to give anyone lectures about human rights. Its military hordes continue to invade defenseless countries. Genocidal aerial bombings killed more than a million innocent civilians during the Vietnam war, and today it actively supports the war crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the valiant Palestinian people.

The only human rights that the United States government truly defends are those which are preceded by a dollar sign.
