The recent arrest of two Washington D.C. U.S. citizens accused of being alleged spies for Cuba leads one to ask the following question: what is the U.S. afraid of other than the fact that Cuba is an example of a nation where the needs of the people are addressed and met by a government that has widespread popular support among the inhabitants of the island?
Can you imagine any sane country hiring as spies people that are in their seventies? Wait a second, I have to take my Geritol before I can send that coded message! Can you imagine an 800 pound gorilla being afraid of a mouse?
I think the answer lies in the fact that the U.S. did not do very well at the foreign ministers meeting of the OAS in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Cuba was invited to return to the OAS. The imperialists, led by Hillary Clinton, definitely did not like that, and so they had to retaliate.
So now, the imperialists have moved on and are very busy sticking their noses in the internal affairs of Iran.
When will they ever learn?
