The last four days have been very difficult for me. My former wife and mother of my two sons, Aleida M. Gonzalez, passed away in Live Oak, Florida on Tuesday, January 12, 2010.
Two very good sons were born from our marriage. George and Charlie have given me six beautiful grandchildren, who bring a great deal of happiness and joy to my life.
Aleida was born in Los Palacios, Pinar del Rio, Cuba, and we met and married in Portland, Oregon in 1967.
