U.S. Supreme Court: Corpocracy rather than Democracy

The United States Supreme Court has confirmed this week the political and economic course which was started in 1980 with the election of Ronald Regan.

We are now well in our way to replacing Democracy with an all powerful Corpocracy.

Corporations are in the business of generating profits for their shareholders. They are not socially responsible vehicles to satisfy people's needs. Never ending greed rules their daily activities. Make money by any means necessary.

Both of the major capitalist parties in the United States are faithful servants of the big corporations and politicians rely on their copious "campaign contributions" to keep on getting reelected. Who are they going to serve? The people or the corporations?

Goverment 'by the people and for the people' is a very endangered species in our country today. Big money rules everything in the United States and the corporations have tons of it.

Based on the 'Vamos a Cuba' precedent, will we see the U.S. Supreme Court rule that government can ban books which attack or disparage Corporations?

Little by little people rights are being undermined in favor of Corporations rights.
