Yulieski Gourriel's Cuban baseball team, Sancti Spiritus, has only ten more games to play in the island's LXIX National Baseball Series.
As of today he has 98 runs batted in and 28 home runs, so he only needs two more in each category to join Cuba's prestigious and elite 100/30 Club.
Because Cuba only plays 90 games during the preliminary phase of La Pelota Cubana, the 100/30 Club right now only has one member: Alexei Bell, who connected 31 home runs and 111 runs batted in during Cuba's XLVII National Baseball Series.
Last year 19 Americans were members of the 2009 MLB 100/30 Club, but Americans have 162 games to do it.
