Barack Obama's budget for subversive activities inside Cuba:
$750,000 for promoting human rights and democracy in Cuba.
$250,000 to help the families of supposedly political prisoners (i.e. the so-called Ladies in White and the recently created Ladies in Support).
$500,000 for those who fight for the liberation of the so-called political prisoners.
$16 millions for giving new technology to certain groups who promote the political line of Washington, which the report characterizes as “the opposition.”
$900,000 for Freedom House. An organization that for 10 years was lead by Frank Calzón. The money would be used to strengthen the leaders of the supposed opposition: artists, musicians, bloggers, with a cynical emphasis on Afro-Cubans.
[JG: Yoani Sanchez, here comes your money!]
$400,000 for the Institute for Sustainable Communities. To try to identify “the new leaders of of the Cuban community and help them in their campaign of political publicity. That is, almost half a million dollars so that Washington could identify the “new leaders” which should receive the dough.
$200,000 to strengthen the so-called support webs which Washington has created inside Cuba. To provide equipment and training for them.
$2,600,000 for Development Associates Inc. With the purpose of enlarging the web of support which Washington has created and to promote the Miami message toward Cuba.
$2,000,000 to support certain Washington affinity groups, especially certain women and Afro Cubans, to promote the individual economic initiative (i.e. Capitalism).
$2,5000 for Creative Associates. An organization which is active covertly enlarging the social web which seeks to search for support towards a political change in the island, utilizing especially the development of “an individual economic initiative of women and Afro-Cubans.”
$2,900,000 to promote free expression in the island, under the directorship of the State Department, especially among artists, musicians, writers, journalists and bloggers.
[JG: We will distribute money to just about anybody who wants to promote the Washington agenda.]
$500,000 to those who are linked to religious or spiritual groups so that they can defend freedom of religion.
$500,000 to promote a determined labor policy in the island and to generate international pressure against the Cuban government to reform their labor laws.
$350,000 to enforce influence over certain groups in Cuban civil society, “especially those women who could be sexually exploited.”
$500,000 for Non-Governmental Organizations and other organizations which have links to Washington.
$1,150,000 to train certain organizations, including journalists and bloggers inside Cuba so they can use new communication technologies.
$2,500,000 to administer the programs of this budget.

JG: As you can see, like the old Cuban refrain went, “Hay dulces para todos” (There are goodies for everybody.)
During the administration of George W. Bush, the U.S. Congress passed a similar program and allocated and disbursed 45 million dollars of taxpayer money. Barack Obama is saying: "Ditto."
Where did the funds go? Into the pockets of “los vive bien” of Miami and the imperialist mercenaries which Washington directs and pays inside the island.
Did they promote “democracy” and “liberty” in Cuba? No, they just became very rich.
