Cuban News Agency

HAVANA, Cuba, May 26 (ACN) The General Secretary of the Tatu Proposal organization, which groups young Argentinean doctors who graduated in Cuba, handed Cuban Vice President Esteban Lazo a letter addressed to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.

The document expresses the gratitude and the commitment of all graduates from the Havana-based Latin American School of Medicine to unconditionally serve the needy.

Prensa Latina news agency reports that, during a meeting with groups in solidarity with Cuba and the Association of Cuban Residents in Argentina, Lazo denounced an ongoing anti-Cuba media campaign led by the United States and its European allies. He added that the history of the Cuban Revolution is one of generosity and love for life, but he noted that Cuba will never yield to pressure or blackmail.
