Global Exchange reports that the U.S. House of Representatives Agriculture Committee may vote on H.R. 4645, The Travel Restriction Reform and Export Enhancement Act, on July 1. Their website story has the date, incorrectly probably, as June 1, 2010.
If your Congressman serves on that committee, get in touch with him/her by phone next week and ask them to support this important piece of legislation.
