U.S. Agriculture Committee aproves H.R. 4645 by 25 votes in favor and 20 votes in opposition

H.R. 4645 is headed for the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

At approximately 4:42 p.m., give or take a few minutes, H.R. 4645, a bill titled the Travel Restriction Reform and Export Enhancement Act was passed by the Agriculture Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, by a vote of 25 in favor and 20 opposed. It heads now to an uncertain future in the floor of the U.S. House, where right-wing forces of the Democratic Party, the notorious and infamous Gang of 66, will do everything they can, with hard and cold cash, to defeat the bill introduced by Peterson and Moran.

It was sad to hear some Representatives defend the "property rights" of General Fulgencio Batista supporters, who now live in ignominy in Miami, Florida.

Another Representative told the people assembled in the committee room, that the days of Fidel and Raul Castro were numbered, and he did it with a straight face. Since November 18, 1961, the day that I arrived in the States, I have heard the Miami mercenaries and commandos tell the world that it was just a matter of weeks or months for the "Castro Dictatorship" to come tumbling down. How little do they know the Cuban people!

More analysis and reports as they are published, and I will do that in a separate post.
