It was to be expected. The infamous Corporal Cason of George W. Bush has sent a nasty letter to the New York Times violently attacking the idea behind H.R.4645, the Travel Restriction Reform and Export Enhancement Act; letting Americans travel to Cuba freely.
The right-wing reactionaries within the two U.S. major capitalist parties, the Menendezes, the Sires, the Casons, the Burtons, and the Diaz-Balart's will never ease up on their hate statements against Cuba. Their vitriol is all-consuming. They are modern day Nazis.
The capitalist marketers want Cuba to purchase the wares of the empire, but does not want Cuba to have the cash to pay for them? How stupid can they be?
The hypocrisy of trading with China, but not trading with Cuba is based on the never ending hate of the Yankee imperialists, who can never forgive Cuba for having kicked out Batista and the American Mafia, who ran the casinos and bordellos of Havana during the darkest period of Cuban history. Get used to it. The Cuban people are not going to let you come back.
Message to Corporal Cason: you are on the wrong side of history. The times when Cuba was dominated by the corrupt puppets of the empire ended on January First, 1959.
