Greed is the prime motivating factor for the U.S. capitalist controlling elite. It never stops. They always want more and more. They never have enough.
Most of these capitalist honchos have never done a day of honest work. They spend all their lives trying to come up with new schemes to defraud and exploit those around them. Make money at any cost, legally or illegally. Money is their only God.
The Guardian in the United Kingdom reports the following:
US bankers are set for record compensation for a second consecutive year, shattering both the illusion of pay-reform and the expectation that bank bonuses would be tempered while the US economy remains weak.
A study of more than three dozen banks, hedge funds, money-management and securities firms estimates they will pay $144 billion dollars in salary and benefits this year, a 4% increase on 2009.
Pay is rising faster than revenue, which gained 3% to $433 billion dollars, despite a slowdown in stock trading.
These capitalist bankers don't care if the country goes to pot, as long as they can stuff their pockets with obscene sums of money.
