Guantanamo (Solvision).-The worldwide prestige of Cuban rums is reaffirmed by the growing demand for Ron Legendario, whose sales show an annual 10 percent increase.
The trademark’s deputy director of marketing, Carlos Sanchez, told Ron Legendario is currently available in more than 15 European countries, among them Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Portugal and specially Spain, being the latter its biggest market.
Ron Legendario is produced in six factories across the country, three of them located in Pinar del Rio, Matanzas and Villa Clara and one in Havana, Sanchez said.
Legendario is distributed in Europe by the Valencian Legendario SL company, which is currently looking to make its way into other markets.
The trademark’s leading product is the Elixir de Cuba 7-year-aged rum, which is the richest, smoothest, sweetest and most delicate rum produced in the island.
Other Legendario spirits commercialized by the Spanish company are Dorado, Añejo, Añejo Blanco, Carta Blanca Superior and Gran Reserva 15 Years.
