The greed hogs of American capitalism continue today salivating and having dreams. Do you remember when the Soviet Union and the Socialist block collapsed in the 1990's? The American main stream capitalist press was full of triumphalism stories back then. Cuba is next, they proclaimed!
They will not admit that they ended up with kaka on their faces. That is what happened back then, and that is will happen now. You see, Americans do not truly understand what motivates people in other lands. If those foreigners do not have dollar signs in their pupils, it must be because they are locos.
Americans do not know how to enjoy life. If they can not make a fast buck, it is not something that they will pursue or consider. Words like social responsibility are unknown in their lexicon. Gotta make more money! Gotta make more money!
They would never consider starting an Operation Miracle, and making it possible to have healthy and good eyesight for poor and needy people. Don't have enough money for cataracts surgery? Come back on the day that you have some greenbacks!
