November 30, 1956: The Cuban people torch Batista's police headquarters in Santiago de Cuba

On that day the Cuban people took to the streets of Santiago de Cuba, in support of the expected landing of the Granma. They torched the dictator's police headquarters in Santiago.

Fidel, Raul, Camilo, Almeida, Che and 77 more courageous members of the 26th of July movement landed in Cuba on December 2, 1956, to start the final phase of Cuba's independence movement.

On January First, 1959, the U.S supported dictator flew to Santo Domingo after Ernesto 'Che' Guevara captured Santa Clara.

Cuba was finally free!
