Obama passes the buck

It is amazing how fast Obama has gone from promoter of hope and fairness to promoter of Republican ideas. What a great disappointment he has been, especially on the Cuba issue.

Barack Obama is governing like a Republican. Instead of leading the progressive forces that put him in the Oval Office, we see him passing the buck on the many important issues that need to be resolved. He was elected to lead, not to appoint that joke that has been very aptly named The Cat Food Commission, chaired by two tired political retreads, Simpson and Bowles.

Hey, the wimp has to take another vacation! The voters who will cast their ballots in 2012 must start considering a new political slogan for the next presidential election: ANYONE BUT OBAMA OR PALIN! SAY NO TO BOTH!

Eugene Robinson:

"Why don't they fight back?"

That's the question I've been hearing from the Democratic Party's stunned and dispirited base. For the past month, I've been on a book tour that has taken me to Asheville, N.C., Terre Haute, Ind., Austin and elsewhere. Everywhere I go, supporters of President Obama and his agenda ask me why so many Democrats in Washington don't stand up for what they say they believe.

JG: BECAUSE THEY ARE WIMPS!
