In Cuba's 50th National Baseball Series, two outstanding sluggers lead the league with 10 homers in 19 games. Could it be that we could end up with another Cuban member of the elite 100/30 Club? Could one or both join Alexei Bell and Alfredo Despaigne with 30 or more homers and 100 or more RBI's? It is a very difficult task, because Cuba's National Baseball Series only has 90 games. Right now it looks like they could get to the 30 homers, but getting to 100 RBI's is a tall order.
Alexander Guerrero, of the Las Tunas team, has a slugging percentage of .855, with 59 total bases and 25 RBI's.
Alexander Malleta, of the Industriales team, has a slugging percentage of .783, with 54 total bases and 19 RBI's.
Very close behind this dynamic duo is Jose Dariel Abreu, of the Cienfuegos team, who has nine homers, a superb .902 slugging percentage, 55 total bases, and 24 RBI's.
