A very interesting story was published this week by Time Magazine. It chronicles how the U.S. is slowly going downhill.
Here is a brief summary of the descent of the U.S. into mediocrity. Thank the politicians of the two major capitalist parties for this state of affairs.
"Our 15-year olds rank 17th in the world in science and 25th in math. We rank 12th among developed countries in college graduation (down from No.1 for decades). We come 79th in elementary school enrollment. Our infrastructure is ranked 23rd in the world. We are 27th in life expectancy, 18th in diabetes and first in obesity. We have the most guns. We have the most crime among rich countries. And of course, we have by far the largest amount of debt in the world."
Thank you, George W. Bush and Barack H. Obama! But don't despair, we are still the first in invading and looting foreign countries.
