A Knight in Shinning Armor

The knight is my favorite chess piece. When I learned the game at 15, the knight was given a value of 3 1/2 points. In today's Internet, the powers that be have downgraded the knight to three points, the same as a bishop.

If you have played chess and have been faced with a shining knight putting both your king and your queen in check at the same time, you know what that means. The game is effectively over.

Forget about “Long Live The King!” I will take a cavalry of knights any time.
