4 + 4 = Barack Obama does not deserve to be re-elected

I was one of those who happily voted for Barack Obama in 2008. I wanted change from the disastrous policies of George W. Bush. But our #44 president has been a great disappointment, especially on the Cuba issue and because of his continuation of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and his new military adventure in Libya. That does a great dishonor to the unearned Nobel Prize that he was awarded shortly after his accession to the Oval Office.

In most of our domestic policies he is governing like a Republican, like in the case of continuing the immoral tax cuts granted to the top .10% wage earners. People like Donald Trump, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffet do not need any extra income courtesy of the U.S. taxpayers, who are decent and hard working citizens.

Obama used a gimmick yesterday to announce his re-election bid. He announced it on the fourth day of the fourth month. That provides us with a very clear picture of this man. He is all gimmicks and no real policies. The hope and change that he offered were all smoke and mirrors.

I am quite aware that if we go back to the Republican Party in the White House we may end up with a much worse person, but sometimes things have to become much worse before people get radicalized. We should not reward mediocrity. Barack Obama is a typical American politician, who will say or do anything to get elected. He follows on the traditions of the two Clintons.

He has continued the genocidal Cuba embargo. 187 nations at the United Nations, including our NATO "partners" have condemned it. But Barack Obama only cares about the million dollars that a Gloria Estefan in Miami may give him to get re-elected.

Things will get better only when we put an honest person in the White House. We should not give up. We have to keep looking for a president that we can be proud of.
