Cuban Grandmaster Lázaro Bruzón lost his first three games at the prestigious Capablanca in Memoriam Chess Tournament in Havana. But he came back in a big way by defeating yesterday one of the best Chess Grandmasters, Vassily Ivanchuk of Russia, who is currently rated #5 in the world
Right now, there is a three way tie for first place in the 46th edition of the tournament. The leaders of the Elite group are Dmitry Andreikin from Russia, David Navara from the Czech Republic (2702) and Le Quang Liem from Vietnam (2687), all with 2.5 points.
The quality of all the six players is superb.
