McClatchy Company sold The Miami Herald's home [building] for $236 million to Genting Malaysia Bhd's Bayfront 2011 Property LLC unit, reports Market Watch.
The report adds that "the owner of the Sacramento Bee, like many others in the newspaper industry, has suffered from reduced advertising revenue." The report also added that the stock shares ended at $2.76. The Miami Herald is practically broke.
