Constant bickering in Washington D.C.

Standard and Poor's has downgraded the credit rating of the United from AAA to AA+.

"The downgrade," S&P said, "reflects our opinion that the fiscal consolidation plan that Congress and the Administration recently agreed to falls short of what, in our view, would be necessary to stabilize the government's medium-term debt dynamics."

It is a constant food fight between:

1) Democrats and Republicans.

2) The executive branch (the President) and the legislative branch (the U.S. Congress).

Can't these people behave like responsible adults? Can they agree on anything? Are they dysfunctional?

Eighty-four percent of Americans are either dissatisfied (56 percent) or angry (28 percent) with Washington, a record high in CBS News/New York Times polling. Link
