The Dragon Heads for the International Space Station
Yesterday, May 22, 2012, a private company called SpaceX succesfully launched its Dragon Space Capsule atop a Falcon 9 rocket. Destination: The International Space Station, for possible rendezvous and docking this coming Friday.
Where does the name Dragon comes from? According to www.space.com SpaceX's billionaire CEO Elon Musk has said that he named his spacecraft "Dragon" after the fictional "Puff the Magic Dragon," from the hit song by music group Peter, Paul and Mary.
