Obama Is Smart on Health Care but Wrong on Cuba Policy

I am very happy that President Obama won yesterday an important victory at the Supreme Court. The Health Care Reform Act is constitutional. The government has a right to tax and to require that you buy health insurance. It is no different than the government requirement that you buy automobile insurance. That is smart policy.

But on his Cuba policy (i.e. the continuation of the Cuba blockade/embargo) Obama is plain DUMB.

He continues pandering to the BIG MONEY interests of the Miami fascists.

That is wrong, Mr. President, and I will not vote vote for your re-election in November.

I will cast a protest vote for one of the POTUS candidates of the minor Socialist parties. I will not scratch your back as long as you do not scratch mine.

THE CUBA BLOCKADE/EMBARGO HAS GOT TO GO.

The American people and the whole world demand it!

I'm having a hard time understanding how Obamacare is an improvement from what you guys already have. Seems to me that doing it half-way is worse than not doing it at all. The way Canada and Cuba are doing it is vastly superior, IMO.

So you're a one-issue voter then?

Yes, I am indeed a one issue voter. My one issue is Cuba. You are a politician or a wannabe politician, and you support or continue the Cuba blockade/embargo?

YOU DO NOT GET MY VOTE IN NOVEMBER!

It is elementary, my dear Watson!

Obamacare is CorporateCare.

Americans are really stupid. And the politicians here in the USA are beholden to Big Capital and not the people. We now have a Plutocracy, not a Democracy.

Obama did not have the cojones to fight for single-payer health-care.

He is a disgrace to his race.

It's a shame. Americans are only hurting themselves with such empty headed resistance to something that is so much in their best interest. Reminds me of trying to reason with toddlers.
