Crooked and corrupt David Rivera has been unceremoniously booted out by the voters of Florida's 26th Congressional District in Miami-Dade county. Like Jackie Gleason would have said: “How Sweet It Is!” Rivera was replaced by Joe García, a Democrat.
It
seems that most Cuban-Americans in the state of Florida, all at once
decided to say in unison to their Coach: “Put me to play
on left field.” (See Wall Street Journal Article)
I hope and pray
that November 6th, 2012 was a turning point. If we are all
united, no one will be able to stop this unprecedented political
tsunami.
Peace on the
Florida Straits will be ushered in by ballots, not bullets.
Next and in order
is the introduction of a bill in the U.S. House of Representatives to
lift the embargo against Cuba and all the accompanying legislation of
the past. The U.S. government DOES NOT have the right
to stick its nose into the internal affairs of any sovereign nation.
