Cuba Grooms an Excellent Future Leader

Granma reported today that Cuba's foreign minister, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, has been elected to the very important Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba.

He is energetic and very capable of asssuming more responsibilities as part of the next generation of Cuba's political leaders.

Here is what Raul Castro had to say:

"We have bright young people whom we must guide and we should pass through to them the knowledge that we have gained in the many years of our Revolution."

Raul presented the proposal to elect Bruno Rodriguez Parilla to the Polit Bureu of the party.

This is a very good choice, in my opinion. Bruno has always been at the forefront in the battle to defend Cub'a national sovereignty and independence. Excellent decision.

Raul's proposal was aproved unanismously by the meeting of the Fifth Plenum of the Communist Party of Cuba.
