USA: A Very Sick Country Today

The United States is a very, very sick country today.

Here is what Atlantic Wire says CNN has reported:

"A decreasing number of American gun owners own two-thirds of the nation's guns and as many as one-third of the guns on the planet."

What can we expect next?

You can expect never to see an article in the U.S. mainstream media blaming the greed of American capitalists in the perpetual business of selling guns to all kinds of people. Huge profits is the only thing that a capitalist cares about.

You can also expect, that overnight, dozens if not hundreds of new businesses will pop up asking you to donate money to “help” the victims of this horrible tragedy. Hucksters will pocket that money.

In one excellent movie (The Great Debaters) about the small Willey College debating team in the 1930's, the radical debate coach had a very important exercise about the following theme:

It's true, in the US we live in a very damaged society. We are easily lied to about so much, if not everything and the consequences are grave as we falsely believe in a system so damaging. Absolutely, we won't be told about anything that could jeopardize the interests of wealthy elite. What measures could be taken to prevent such tragedy? No, only react after the damage is already made, and even then at the end of the day, nothing is done to make things better.

I agree with what you say 100%. Capitalists in the United States always put profit above people. They really do not care about how many innocent children have to die.

The National Rifle Association should be declared and made an illegal organization by the U.S. Congress, but you and I know that will not happen.

Money, millionaires and billionaires rule the United States.
