Cost to the U.S. taxpayers for operating the Guantanamo prison in Cuba: $2.7 million per prisoner

No wonder that the United States is very close to fiscal bankruptcy.

It is spending $2.7 million dollar for every prisoner that it incarcerates in the illegally occupied Guantanamo Naval Base in Cuba.

Notice that for the Yankee imperialists it is not a prison, it is merely a detention center.

The top headline in the Washington Post article stated that: 

U.S. could save millions by paying each Gitmo prisoner $2 million annual salary to do nothing

To which Barack Obama replied: "Macho, Macho, Man, I want to be a macho man!"
