The U.S. Congress unresponsiveness and constant bickering

Read a so called "average" poll -- there are hundreds of them, if not thousands -- and you will find that in the U.S.A. the opposition to continuing the Cuba embargo/blockade is huge and overwhelming.

Yet the politicians in the U.S. Congress in Washington D.C. do absolutely NOTHING! These are individuals who on average collect monthly salaries of well over $125,000. They are always in 'campaign mode' 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The public be damned.

The country, once prosperous, continues to go steadily down-hill. Most Americans today say that the country is going in the wrong direction.

Cuba on October 27th will again re-introduce its resolution at the General Assembly of the United Nations titled "the necessity of ending the economic and political blockade that the USA enforces against the Republic of Cuba." It will likely will be overwhelmingly approved. The U.S. Congress will continue suffering from the disease of being totally deaf. Are they dumb too?

The re-opening of embassies in Havana and Washington does not mean that there is normalization of diplomatic relations.

Maybe the citizens of the world should start sending hearing aids to the U.S. politicians in the US. Congress. I plan to do that with my two U.S. Senators and my one Representative.
