What ever happened to the trial for corruption of indicted Cuban-American U.S. Senator Robert Menendez?

August 18, 2016:

Attorneys want appeals court to take another look at Sen. Menendez's corruption indictment

In the article above, Menendez claims that the indictment is an attack on the independence of  Congress.

He does not have a right to be a crook and to violate established corruption laws. His independence is not being questioned.

In my opinion, he should be tried as soon as possible. One more time, the Justice Department of Barack Obama is dropping the ball, like it did with Hillary Clinton. I am not surprised. since, of the two capitalist parties, the Democrats are more corrupt. Obama is trying to help his buddy.

What is happening here is the old tactic of stall, stall, stall. Plain stonewalling.
