Chicago Tribune: The Cuba embargo is an anachronism that simply doesn't make sense to enforce any more, a formidable barrier to unfettered trade between two nations normalizing a once frozen relationship.

Only a couple of extreme right wingers, U.S. Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, who do not represent anyone inside the island, continue promoting this anachronism of the Cold War.

To them, it is a very lucrative business to use the fools in Miami and NJ as customers.

In my opinion, there will be no true normalization of diplomatic relations as long as the embargo is kept in the law books of the Yankee imperialists.

To use an old cliché, putting lipstick on this pig does not make it pretty.
